Who is excited about next month's Eurovision song contest?
43 countries - including AUSTRALIA for the 2nd time - competing, two packed semi-final shows, one awesome final, all in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2016. Where are all those crazy Australian fans? Are you ready?

Who are your favorite entries this year? What are winner songs for you?
How do you watch it? What do you do (food, drink, games) during the ESC nights? :drinkup

A history lesson from an interesting view point: amidst the cold war, competing with rock'n'roll on the rise ...

The UK's BBC very personal history of the Eurovision. They have had good times, but lately they keep getting last positions.

I have for a while been wondering if the views on you-tube are able to reflect the winners for the contest.
So far, the most viewed songs are Poland (3.3 million views so far), Bosnia & Herzegovina (2.9) - which is having a come back this year, great their song is so well received, I also like it a lot! - Australia (2.8), Azerbaijan (2.6), Malta (2.5), Armenia (2.5), France (2.5). Although the Moldavian song has less than 300.000 views, it's one of my favorite songs this year

, but well that's Eurovision. In comparison, some other songs have less than 200.000 views ...

LOL, I am using the numbers from the official playlist of the Eurovision channel, loosely rounding the hundred thousands.
But I make typos ... Bosnia & Herzegovina (2 million views), I wanted to put 1.9 I guess ... Thank you for taking the time to spot errors :thumbsup

Every year in May I wanna take a holiday in the UK, just for Graham Norton! He's my ESC winner and the secret weapon behind UK's nevertheless good mood. It's a solid song this year and ... DK is also sending a boy band, lol. Good luck!
