It see this so often chat rooms where no one is talking. Might blame part of that on whispering, but then that is a story unto itself. When a performer goes into party chat OMG the number of viewers in the room is mind blowing. GEEZ guys why not even take the time to say HELLO ...heck that is FREE and at best say something nice about the performer. There are a lot of performers on the site who really give their all and still are treated with so little respect. Sorry to sound so harsh, but a simple HELLO can really make one's day.

Gofish it could be a number of reasons as have been discussed here often. Members might believe or be afraid if they say "Hello" they will in return be asked for something they may not be willing or able to give. Remaining silent is the safer of the two options for them. Maybe they are just too shy to join the chat, that could be why many are on a virtual site as opposed to going out for face to face interaction with others. You mention Party Chats, a lot of times I don't say anything and just let the performer do their thing, tipping is my way of communicating and telling them I like what I see.
