Hi Guys!
Please note that there's a difference between the system being slow and causing issues with video playback and an actual issue with a video. The Report Issue button is specific to the video and has nothing to do with the system. Each time you hit that button, it sends the video to be processed for encoding. Use this button when the video lacks audio, the AV doesn't sync, the screen is black but you hear audio, the video stutters, or the video freezes. Do not use the Report Issue button when the video is slow to play. If you hit it repeatedly, it can actually degrade the quality of the video since it will make the video get processed multiple times. Don't do this. Please.
When our system lags due to a server being down or traffic coming in heavily, then the videos can be slow too. Sending the video to get encoded is not going to fix this. In fact, all it does is process the video for no reason and possibly reduce the quality. It isn't going to make the system work faster or play videos faster. A slow playback is not the time to use the Report Issue button. I assure you that we are aware when our system slows down and we are taking steps behind the scenes to improve the situation.
As we've stated previously, we are in constant growth mode and work continuously to upgrade the system. Sometimes, that involves some growing pains. We appreciate your loyalty and patience while we make these efforts to improve the site.
