Hello, I have reached the limit of 10 nicknames. Is there any way to remove deactivated nicknames?

The only way I've found to do it is by Live Chat with support. The confirm some info with you and then you tell them which name or names you want deleted. Takes maybe 10 min depending on their response times.

Please contact us through our Live Support, Email, or Phone options and let us know that you have reached the limit of 10 nicknames and would like to remove some deactivated nicknames
Please keep in mind that you are able to reach us 24/7 through our Contact Us tab on our site with any account request

That's odd. When I try to make a new one it says I'm already have my five nicknames and I can not make any more. Could someone take a look at that?

If you have 5 “active” nicks, you’d need to deactivate one of them from the manage screen names page before trying to make a new one.

Another change in the mobile UI is that it’s not obvious to me where you go to change screen names. Someone please tell me I’m blind and show or tell me. It was easy in the previous UI

I just had a look as I change names a bit and I have to agree with you - previous UI was much more accessible.

Now, you have to go to My Account, then expand Options, then click Account Information, THEN Screen Names!!! 🥴

Previously, Manage Screen Names was just one click away on the mobile UI. Much simpler!

Hello!

We will have this looked into, in the meantime, while you are in a chat room you can manage your screen names by clicking the gear icon in the text field and click on your username. That should direct you to a screen where you can change your screen name.

This has now been fixed. The "Manage All Screen Names" will be located in the upper right corner when you click your profile. It will appear in the drop down menu.

You can add up to 10 names, but if you have 5 already, you just deactivate one for each name you wish to add. Then you can at any time deactivate, and reactivate as needed. You can only have 5 active names and 5 deactived names.
