Technical Support: Models know who bought their VOD?
Anyone know if the model knows who has bought a recording of their show? Does the model receive a % of the amount paid for the recording? Thanks

I think I can answer part of the question, since I have sold a few of mine I do know I know they notify the director (me) that it was sold and the credits earned, although not who purchaser was, therefore I would think they notified the performer, and yes I remember one of my favorites tellin' me ther performer does get % of the sale cause she did get income from video sales.
If this is not correct please correct me here in the forums as I'm sure others would like to know as well.
Just my n-n-n-n-n 5 cents worth...

I think the model knows somebody bought it, because the model will get part of the purchase price (not much). A model's daily income report shows who tipped, who voyeured and who went private, so I'd assume the model's daily income report would name who bought a video. Wild guess: some models don't read their daily reports.

I have info about this. Had a chat with a model, and was informed that the model receives a % of the video purchase price, so they know if someone buys a recording of their show, but has no way of knowing who bought the video. Hope this is helpful!
