Just curious of the reason. Some of us still spend quite a bit of money to enjoy the site and converse with the models without necessarily wanting every comment we made and open chat. Is this just another way of getting another $40 a month from us?

Our decision to limit the whisper feature to VIP & Fan Club members only was primarily to make the chat rooms more fun, engaging, and welcoming to our new customers. It doesn’t feel very inviting when you enter a room for the first time and don’t have the performer’s attention. This change will make the chat more interactive, enticing, and overall, a better experience for everyone. If you do wish to use the whisper feature, then we highly recommend purchasing a VIP or a fan club membership for that model (if there is one available) we will be in contact via email - GW

So in other words, yes, you're just trying to get some extra money out of us. This will backfire on you, as there are many of us who just won't come around any more if we can't whisper to a model. I have no desire for everyone in the room to read what I'm saying, and I have no desire to give Flirt yet MORE money when I already spend so much here. I would strongly suggest you rethink this.

This change will affect all of us, but mainly the models, who prefer to chat and share more about themselves in whisper. I hope that you will revert the change asap, because neither customers not models are happy about it.

And it works both ways regarding sharing. If a model wants to be friendly to me and ask, what's your name? where are you from? etc. there's no way I'm giving that information in the public room. And of course models with whom customers already have friendships are going to lose out big time.

I have noticed that models are seeing full rooms, but having fewer people talking, because those members don't want to talk to the whole room.
Good luck with your decision, but I think you will find it works against the interest of models and visitors alike

The site WAS a refreshing feature with the possibility of free whispering among the many cam sites, I repeat it WAS.
It was possible to establish an intimate relationship with the models, I feel this is just a increase in the number of VIP users. :mad

A lot of folks threatening to leave or spend less because they don't want to say things in open chat. Whispering was allowed to VIP only up to about seven years ago, and users seemed to chat freely. Of course back then we users were smart enough to know that only fake names and locations were used anyway. Models could whisper unilaterally, but most didn't know how. A major competing fantasy sex site (that's what this is), doesn't allow whispering to the model today unless the model initiates it.

I think this change is probably better. You may say you won't spend if you can't whisper, but for every one like you there are probably three or four who are turned off by seeing all the half-sided conversations on screen.

Thumbs down on this. I want my whisper mode back. I'm one of the ones who wants to talk to the model and no one else. This change isn't going to open me up, it's going to make me silent. And I already irritate some of my fave models with how quiet I am. This certainly is not going to help.

If you mock spenders like this, good luck in the future with your already too expensive site. I will have better places to spend my money on, like a dinner and a nice evening with people I like.

Going through a few models rooms today, it is refreshing to see a flow of chat in each room. Granted there was a lot of bitching but that should soon pass.
The models were interacting with the room instead of being focused on all the whispered conversations and the rooms did not look like an empty auditorium with the models speaking to themselves.
Yes, I am VIP and fan club member to my favorite models, but most of you that see me in the rooms I visit know I am quite comfortable speaking in open chat as well.
Stop being petty and threatening the site or models about leaving. Flirt has been around long enough that you are not going to break them. Adapt to the change or move on.

And how is this accomplished exactly? I don't see how limiting the whispering contributes to more engaging chat then to earn more money on your side. This is plain false advertising if you ask me since models themselves can limit the whispers by given the users the option to do so under the condition of becoming a fanclub member. This is an option every models has for as long as I can remember. But with this new policy you decide for the model wether they want it or not.
