Thank you. I've added the flash player back for you, if you could verify that you're able to use it as normal again i'd appreciate it. If you don't mind me asking, was it stuttering in all rooms or a select few?
The end of Flash isn't far off and any feedback you can provide will help us get to the finish line faster. The new player gets video from the same exact places as the flash player and i find is interesting (in a sad way) that there'd be much of a difference with respect to fluidity of video between flash and the new player.
Thank you. It is running properly with Flash Player. To answer your question, it was (as far as I know) European and Colombian rooms that were affected worst. Refreshing the page would help for a few moments, but then the feed became choppy, with the image freezing for a half-second before resuming, but then jumping as if to catch up after that pause, only to pause again and then jump again.
I am not sure how everything is supposed to be working, but--on my end, at least--I have always noticed a 1-2 second lag (though, in some extreme cases, it was closer to 15-18 seconds...and this was for US/North American rooms), even with the Flash Player. While I have no problem with this in open chat, it also occurs during private shows, which results in a loss of perhaps a minute (maybe more) because the dialogue between myself and a model is not smooth or instantaneous...the 1-2 second lag I am ready to overlook, but the longer one is very frustrating to deal with.
Not being technologically savvy, I may have this completely wrong...but I think, perhaps, that the video stream is playing out faster than it can buffer, resulting in the stuttering/choppiness...like (please pardon the analogy) a race car driving down a city street, speeding down blocks, only to stop for a red light, surging forward again when the light turns green, only to stop again a few seconds later at the next stoplight. That is what it feels like: the video plays, freezes and buffers, begins again and jumps to catch up to where it is supposed to be, only to freeze and buffer again.
I hope this is helpful. I apologize for the poor details.
